Located in the heart of Oakville's Kerr Village and close to the Oakville GO Station, Thistleoaks Child Care Centre has been providing the highest quality in child care since its opening in 1989. Our not-for-profit centre focuses on ensuring all children have the opportunity to succeed in programs that focus on active learning through exploration, play, and inquiry. We believe that all children thrive in programs where they and their families are valued as active participants and contributors.
Under the tutelage of an experienced team of Educators focused on Ontario's Framework for Child Care: "How Does Learning Happen", we provide full day care for children aged six weeks to Grade one on weekdays between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.
Our facility boasts a large, outdoor play area surrounded by greenspace to give a park-like setting with separate play areas and equipment to match the age and abilities of each class. In addition, Thistleoaks has its own peanut-free kitchen and prepares all food in-house daily.
