I know that many of us celebrate the start of the new year on January 1st, but for me, September has always marked the start of a new year. It's full of change and new beginnings. Hopefully you've been seeing little seeds of change and new beginnings all over the centre. I'm excited to announce that we purchased and had new blinds installed in August to accompany the new windows we put in last year.
This month we would love to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday September 19th. We will have a barbecue at 5:30, and the meeting will run begin at 6:30. We are glad to welcome back the magician Bumbling Bert, who will provide entertainment from for the children whose parents attend the AGM.
Our centre isn't the only thing getting a facelift this year. We are excited to launch our new social media makeover. We have developed a new logo to accompany our new website, and we will actively be using our Facebook and Twitter accounts. It is our hope in launching these platforms to ease the burden of communication on the go, staying informed, and being connected.
On our new website, you can easily find information about our staff, our classrooms, the current menu rotation, and other important resources for you and your family. In addition, I will post quarterly updates on this blog to help keep you informed about what's going on at the centre.
Our Facebook and Twitter pages will allow us a quick and easy method for communicating time-critical information with ease, such as closures for weather. Follow us on those pages to ensure you don't miss anything! You can also access these pages by clicking on the logos at the bottom of our website.
But remember, nothing beats a face-to-face conversation, so please feel free to drop on by anytime. My door is always open!
