On Saturday June 1st we will be conducting our Second Annual Spring Cleanup at Thistleoaks. Last year's cleanup was a great success! Many of our families came out to help us clean up the play area in our backyard, readying it for spring and for our children to enjoy the outdoors. This year is no exception - in fact, this year, we are aiming bigger.
In addition to our backyard cleanup, we have partnered with Appleby College, and we will be painting the entirety of the inside of the centre. Appleby College will be sending around 35 students to help us paint. Our centre has not been painted in years and is in dire need of a freshening up, so we are going to show our centre a bit of TLC.
Our centre and backyard are both large spaces, so this quite the undertaking - we need as many hands as we can get to help out!
